  • 1 – (12 ounce) bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 – (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream (or similar)
  • 1-1/2 cups lightly toasted walnuts
  • 1/2 cup black currants (fresh or frozen and thawed)
  • Sea salt flakes

How to make it

1. Spread walnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes. After roasting, crush walnuts to desired size.

3. Mix the contents of both bags of chocolate chips and the can of sweetened condensed milk into a pan and melt on the stove top over low heat. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted. Remove from heat.

4. Stir in the Bailey’s Irish Cream, 1 cup roasted walnuts and black currants into the melted chocolate.

5. Spread the melted chocolate mixture evenly in the greased 9″ x 9″ baking pan.

6. Sprinkle flaky sea salt and the remaining 1/2 cup roasted walnuts evenly over the top fudge mixture.

7. Let the fudge set at room temperature until it is set solid.  Slice and serve.
